Charles Gomm born 18 April 1896, son of Charles Herbert and Matilda Gomm, of Weybeard Cottage, Denham, Bucks. The 1901 census records Charles as 5 years old and living at 8 Troy Mill Cottages, West Hyde, with a brother 7 and a sister 3.
Additional Information
Charles census for 1911 not found. Most residents of Troy Mill Cottages were farm labourers or worked in the Asbestos plant on the Grand Union Canal.
