Winchester College Memorial War Cloister

Born in 1857 in Belgium son of James Wyatt and Margaret Elinor (Bailey) Greenfield. He was educated at Winchester College 1870-73 and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. He married Mary Frances Bateman in 1893 and later lived at Waterdell House, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth. Gazetted Lieutenant 108th Regiment, Indian Army on 13 Jun 1874 and was attached to Army H.Q. 1899-1900 and 1901-02. Took part in the Burmah Expedition in 1892, Mentioned in despatches (1892), and the Tirah Relief Expedition in 1897 while commanding the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers 2nd Bn. He was appointed Brigade Commander in India and C.B. in the 1907 Birthday Honours. He retired from service in 1912.
Wartime Service
At the outbreak of the war he volunteered and served in the General Staff of the Irish Command. He died at home.
