Pre War
Born in 1877 in Well Row, Bayford, Hertfordshire and baptised on 30 Mar 1879 in Bayford son of William Wade and Jane Thorn (nee Broomfield) and was living in Bayford in 1881.
He was in an orphan school in St. Pancras, London in 1891 and living back with his widowed mother in 67 Somerset Terrace, Hertford in 1901 and working as a postman.
He married Emily Church in 1907 in Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire and they lived at "Burn Brae," 50 Hertingfordbury Road, Hertford in 1911. He was a postman and had two daughters.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Hertford formerly 271018 Hertfordshire Regiment and died of wounds.
