Born on 17 Nov 1897 in Hessle, Yorkshire son of Ernest and Emmie Earle of Penguin, Hessle, Yorkshire. Educated at Haileybury College 1912-15.

Wartime Service

Formerly Sergeant 5608 Inns of Court O.T.C. he obtained a commission in the R.F.A in Dec 1915 and entered France on 31 Mar 1916. He was killed in action.
