Born on 24 Jun 1876 in Claygate, Surrey son of James and Mary (Saunders) Ede later of 143 Lord Street, Hoddesdon. He emigrated to Canada and married Florence Beatrice Heyward on 10 Jul 1907 in Toronto and they lived at 61 Barker Avenue, Woodbine Heights, Toronto.
Wartime Service
Previously served in the British and Canadian Navy. Enlisted on 27 Jan 1916 in Toronto, ON, Canada and died of acute peritonitis following colitis in Toronto General Hospital.
