Thomas is also commemorated on his father's headstone in St. Albans (Hatfield Road) Cemetery. His part of the inscription reads:

ALSO IN MEMORY OF THOMAS HIS  [George Edwardes] SON KILLED IN ACTION APRIL 12/19/18 AGED 21.
REST ETERNAL GRANT TO THEM O LORD AND LET LIGHT ACTUAL SHINE UPON THEM.
