Born 1893 son of John and Louisa Blanche (Durant) Trotter, of Brickendon Grange, Herts. Educated at Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge.

Wartime Service

Commissioned on 15 Aug 1914 to 6th Bn Rifle Brigade and later posted to 1st Bn. Entered France 5 Jan 1915.

Killed in action near Ypres.

His brother Colin Liddell Trotter was also killed.
