Pre War

Born on 15 Apr 1896 in Altringham, Manchester son of William Turner. Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1906-11 and then joined the London and North-Western Railway.

Wartime Service

Enlisted in Manchester and entered France on 26 May 1915. He worked on the Divisional Train and was wounded by a shell and died the same night.
