Buntingford Town Memorial

In the 1911 census Leslie is at St Clement and St Giles private school in Oxfordshire. His parents John and Emily Fairweather were living at Avisford Park, Arundel, Sussex. According to the probate register dated 1927 Leslie of Owles Hall, Buntingford, died 19 March 1916 at Armentieres, France. His estate valued at £10 was left to John Edgar Creyke Fairweather his father.

Wartime Service

Private then commissioned on 19th May 1915 to Lieutenant in Lincolnshire Regiment.


The 3rd Lincolnshire was attached to the 8th Battalion. I cannot find any reference for his service number.
