Born in 1891 in Sri Lanka son of Joseph Charles and Kate (Benningfield) Farquharson, of "The Limes," Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire and was living with grandmother in 1901 in High Street, Hoddesdon after his father had died.
Wartime Service
Enlisted formerly Private 1541 London Regiment 28th Bn. and entered France on 21 Oct 1914. He then obtained a commission on 31 Dec 1914 in the Norfolk Regiment and died in Iraq.
