Pre War

Born on 18 December 1875 in Datchworth,  Herts to Charles and Jane Farrow and baptised in Tewin, Welwyn  on 9 April 1876. Sadly his father died in 1876 and by 1881 the family were living at the The Duck at Datchworth, where his mother was a beer house keeper. They later moved to Ranelagh Road, Tottenham by 1891 and Cornelius was working as a Builders Labourer.


On the 1911 Census he was living as a Boarder at 66 Shrubbery Road, Lower Edmonton, Middlesex working as General Labourer. His mother and sister were living at Richmond Road, Tottenham. 

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Edmonton, Middlesex. Killed in action.

Additional Information

War gratuity of £10 awarded to his mother Jane.
