Born on 7 Oct 1897 in Malta son of Major Thomas MacGregor Twynam (H.L.I.) and Louisa Margaret (Drummond-Hay) Twynam of "Lanrick", Waldron, Sussex. Educated at Haileybury College 1911-13.

Wartime Service

Formerly 2nd Lieut Royal Sussex Regiment he transferred as Lieutenant to the H.L.I. and entered France in 1916. Killed in action.
