Born on 25 Apr 1891 in Croydon and baptised on 29 Mar 1891 in Hackney, Middlesex son of Frederick and Emily (Porrett) Veysey and lived at 39 Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon. In 1911 he was living at 41 Trinity Road, Ware and was a schoolmaster.

Wartime Service

Formerly 288, Lance Corporal, Army Cyclist Corps., he entered France on 16 Mar 1915 and obtained a commission on 19 Feb 1917 in the Artillery. He died of wounds in France.
