Born on 25 Oct 1896 in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire son of Charles and Elizabeth Jane (Berrie) Fitch later of Beech Hurst, Kingswood, Tadworth, Surrey.


Educated at Oakfield, Rugby and Sherborne and in France and Germany. He was unmarried.

Wartime Service

Gazetted 2nd Lieutenant on 12 Aug 1916 from the Inns of Court O.T.C. and entered France on 20 Aug 1916 and was killed in action at Ypres.
