Born on 26 May 1889 in 65 St Andrew’s Street, Hertford son of Charles and Eliza (Hart) Fitkin, and baptised on 21 Jul 1889 in St Andrew’s, Hertford. In 1911 he was a corn merchant’s carman.

Wartime Service

Entered France on 18 Nov 1915 and died in Palestine.

Additional Information

Brother of Driver Harry Fitkin who died in 1918 in Greece and of Private William George Fitkin who was killed in action in 1915 and who are also commemorated on these memorials.
