Pre War

Cyril Lambert Foster was born in Staines, Middlesex around July 1896, the only son of Herbert Lambert Foster and Edith Ella nee Foster.


He was employed as Junior Clerk after education at Aldenham School.

Wartime Service

After the outbreak of war he joined Royal Naval Air Service 11 Oct 1915 and was employed as a Driver.


In this trade he transferred to Royal Air Force on its formation. He died as a result of sickness at Hastings, Sussex in 1918.
