Born on 31 May 1894 in Edmonton, Middlesex son of Robert John and Elizabeth Ann Frank.
Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1904-10 and played hockey for Hertfordshire.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at London entered France on 4 Nov 1914. He was severely wounded in May 1915 and, despite undergoing two operations, he died of his wounds in hospital in Lincoln. All the other members of his machine gun section were killed.
