Born on 4 Oct 1897 in Constantinople son of Frank and Katherine Helen Frewen of Robert College, Constantinople.


Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1905-14.

Wartime Service

Enlisted on 4 Oct 1915 in Bunhill Row formerly 2889, 5th London Regiment and entered France in 1916. He was wounded at Gommecourt on the Somme on 1 Jul 1916 but recovered and was sent to Salonica. In 1917 he went to Palestine and was killed in action in Jerusalem.
