Born in 1874 son of Rev. Thomas Waters, Vicar of Thornbury, Gloucestershire and Barbara Bass (Vessey) Waters, his wife. He married Mary Sophia Vere Vessey, of Mythe End, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire on 24 Jul 1905 in Grantham, Lincolnshire and had one son. He was a school teacher in Haileybury College in 1911 and Housemaster of Trevelyan.

Wartime Service

He entered France on 29 Jan 1918 and died of wounds.
