Born on 2 May 1880 in Exeter, Devon son of Col. John Whaley Watson (Bombay Staff Corps) and Elizabeth Charlotte (Watts) Watson of The Cottage, Swainswick, Bath.
Educated at Haileybury College 1894-96.
Wartime Service
Gazetted 2nd Lieutenant on 22 Nov 1899 and Lieutenant on 16 Feb 1901 and served in the South African Campaign 1899-1902. Entered France on 1 Mar 1917 and died of wounds on the Somme.
Additional Information
Brother of Captain Charles Reginald Watson who was killed in action on 6 Apr 1916 in Mesopotamia and of Major George Edmund Borlase Watson D.S.O., M.C. who was killed in action on 29 Aug 1918 on the Somme.
