Born in 1889 in Loose, Kent son of Thomas and Caroline Golden and living there in 1895 and 1901. Was a visitor in Duckett’s Cottage, Mangrove Lane, Hertford on 2 Apr 1911.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford formerly 2595 Hertfordshire Regiment, entered France on 6 Nov 1914 and was killed in action.

*1 The St Albans Cathedral Diocese records suggest a connection to Brickendon (Rural), however these records list him as a Lance Corporal, not a full Corporal.
