Born in Henley-on-Thames. Lived in 2 Blakesware Cottages, Wareside. Gamekeeper, then resident of Widford.

Wilfred was taken prisoner of war 28th March 1918 Arras and died 31st August 1918.

The date of death is currently incorrect on the CWGC - it records it as 1919. 1918 was confirmed by Red Cross records and the CWGC has been informed.
