Born on 5 Jul 1890 in Hornsey Lane, Islington, London and baptised on 7 Jul 1895 in St John’s, Holloway son of John and Edith Milton (Whitehead) Gordon later of 3 Langley Avenue, Surbiton, Surrey. Educated at Haileybury College 1903-05. He married Florence Christie and had two children.

Wartime Service

Formerly Private 9328 Inns of Court Regiment, he obtained his commission on 28 Feb 1917 and was killed in action on the Somme.
