Born on 21 Jul 1894 in Datchet, Buckinghamshire son of William Harris and Alice Marion (Baigent) Widcombe of Queensmead, Datchet, Windsor. Educated at the United Services College 1906-11. He became a surveyor.

Wartime Service

Entered WW1 in Mesopotamia in Dec 1915 and was killed in action.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
