Born on 2 Oct 1875 in the Presidency of Bombay, India and baptised on 26 Oct 1875 in Byculla, Bombay son of Bde Surgeon Henry William and Harriette Rosalie (Munn) Graham. Educated at the United Services College 1888-91. He married Margaret Cecilia Martin on 11 Jul 1906 in Bangalore, Madras, India. He was a coffee planter in India. Formerly Trooper in Lumsden's Horse during the Boer War 1900 – 1902.

Wartime Service

He was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the Coorg & Mysore Rifles and in the 7th Lincolnshire Regiment in 1914. He was killed in action.

Mentioned in despatches and MC (London Gazette 14 Jan 1916).

Brother of Henry Gordon Graham who died as a civilian aged 73 in a Japanese prison camp in Singapore on 2 Apr 1945 & uncle of Wing Commander William Monteith Graham who was killed over Germany in action with a Polish Squadron of the RAF on 9 May 1941. Uni
