He was born about 1893 in North Finchley, the youngest child of 7 of Daniel and Sarah Ann Wilkins (nee Webb) and was living in The Crown Inn, Newgate Street, Hertfordshire in 1901, where his father was the landlord of The Crown and in 1911 the family were now living at Manor Farm cottages, Northaw. He enlisted at Shoreditch.

Wartime Service

Formerly S/8492 The 9th Battalion The Rifle Brigade Went to France 17th September 1915 and ws killed in action.
