Born on 18 Sep 1884 in Japan son of Charles Henry and Emily Charlotte (Seymour) Dallas of Shanghai, China. Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1895-1902, St. Edmund's Hall, Oxford (MA Oxon. 1908) and Theological College, Wells. He was a curate at St Mary Abbot’s, Kensington and then moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Wartime Service

Enlisted in Jul 1915 and was appointed Chaplain in France. Killed by a shell while on duty in the front line.
