Born in 1881 in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire and baptised on 14 Aug 1881 in Hoddesdon son of George and Mary Griffin and living in the Tavern, Old Highway, Hoddesdon in 1901 as a coal merchant. He married Jane Eliza Welch in 1906 and they lived in 105 Whitley Road, Rye Park, Hoddesdon in 1911.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Hertford and was killed in action.
