Thomas Williams was born in Walworth, Surrey in 1879 (baptised 8 Jun 1879) to John Richard Williams, book maker, and Sarah Elizabeth (nee Darton).
Not found on 1881 & 1891 Census's.
Thomas married Jane Julia Reynolds in the church of St Andrew by the Wardrobe, London on 22 Dec 1901
On the 1901 Census the family of Thomas (a bookbinder) and Jane, Thomas Charles (born 9 Oct 1902), Winifred (born 9 Nov 1904), John Frederick (born 7 Dec 1908) were living at were living at 54 Common View, Letchworth.
On the 1911 Census the family of Thomas and Jane, Thomas Charles, Winifred, John Frederick, 54 Common View, Letchworth.

Wartime Service
No Service Record was found for Thomas who was enlisted in the Bedfordshire Regiment as Private 33830 (probably in 1916).
After his training he was posted to 8th Battalion of the Regiment in France as part of 16 Brigade 6 Division. The Division were not engaged in any major battles at this time so would be occupied on Trench Duties on rotation with training and rest periods before Thomas died on 10 Jun 1917.
Additional Information
War Gratuity of £3 and arrears of £2 2s 3d was paid to his widow.
