Born 21 Jun 1887 and baptised on 30 Jul 1887 in Derby son of Frederick and Hannah Sophia (Smith) Stone of The Lindens, Uttoxeter Road, Derby. Educated at Haileybury College 1901-05, he became a solicitor. He later lived at 21 Imperial Avenue, Leicester.
Wartime Service
Entered France on 25 Feb 1915 and was killed in action.
