His father died in August 1917.

*1 An, ‘A Stone’ appears on these memorials and that could commemorate Albert Stone or Albert Charles Stone, however the former was the brother of H T Stone and as he appears on these memorials too we believe the commemoration to be for Albert Stone and not this man Albert Charles Stone.
