Born on 8 Aug 1888 in Richmond, Surrey son of John Edward and Annie Ellen (Cutbush) Gripper of Barnes, London.


Educated at Haileybury College 1902-06.


He married of Ruby Kathleen Parkin (later Mrs Cox) on 26 Jul 1912 in West Fordington, Dorset and they lived at Ward's Cross, Hurst, Twyford, Berkshire and had one daughter.

Wartime Service

Died of wounds, probably in hospital at Le Touquet, France.
