Born in 1882 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of John and Sarah Willmott and was living in High Oak Road, Ware in 1901 where he was a labourer. He married Clara Emily Sams in 1910 in Ware and they were living in 18 Church Street, Ware in 1911. He was a wine merchant’s carman.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Ware and died as a prisoner of war in Cambrai.
