Born on 26 Feb 1883 in the School House, Warwick son of Rev William and Margaret (Mitchell) Grundy. Educated at Malvern College and Brasenose College, Oxford. Housemaster at Haileybury College.

Wartime Service

Gazetted 2nd Lieutenant on 4 Sep 1914. He embarked on H.M.S. Royal Edward for the Dardanelles in Jun 1915 and landed at Cape Helles in July and was killed in the front trenches.
