Pre War

Born on 17 Oct 1893 in Fulham, London son of Dr. William and Constance Halley of 724 Fulham Road, London. Educated at the United Services College 1910. He became a clerk and left for Singapore in 1913.

Wartime Service

He enlisted Driver 1141 7th London Brigade R.F.A. in Fulham on 2 Sep 1912 and was discharged on 2 Oct 1913 to go to Singapore. He returned and was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant R.A. and entered France on 18 Aug 1915. He was killed in action.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
