Pre War

Son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Darlow, of 1, George Lane, Royston. He was employed by C.F.Wightman in Royston, and later as a Baker in London.

Wartime Service

Frederick was a member of “E” Company and arrived in France on the 6th November 1914. Just twelve days later, he was killed he was buried by a shell. His body was never recovered, and his name is recorded on the Menin Gate, Memorial, Ypres.
