Born on 13 Apr 1899 in Great Carlton, Lincolnshire son of Canon John William and Alice Maud (Lawrence) Hancock. Educated at Haileybury College 1912-17. He later lived at 76 Percy Avenue, George Hill, Broadstairs, Kent.

Wartime Service

Killed in action when his aeroplane, a Sopwith Camel B 4631, spun out of control at Poperinghe.
