Pre War

Tom was born at Webheath in ·Worcestershire in 1889. The son of George and Emma Harrison. In 1901 he was living at home with parents, his father is a needle maker working at home. By 1911 he was working as a footman for Lady Bath at 15 Manchester Square London, one of ten servants. His place of residence in army records was given as Redditch, but that may have been his parents address. Presumably he had come to this Hertfordshire for work after 1911, possibly at Poles or one of the large houses in the area. Tom enlisted in Hertford.

Formerly 12321, Bedfordshire Regiment where he was promoted to L/Cpl and then later transferred into the Lincolnshire, where he was presumably captured and died as a POW.
