Francis Ogilvy Wyatt was recorded on Royal artillery records as transferring from Artillery Militia around 1891. He was 2nd Lt at 1 Jan 1892 and 1st Lt. 1st Jan 1895 , Captain 22 Dec 1899.
He was married in March 1901 to Roberta Whitehead Stansfield.
1901 Census shows that he was now Captain and living in Lydd, Kent. 1911 Census records him at Quetta, Baluchistan
Wartime Service
He served as Adjutant of 1st Norfolk Volunteer Artillery. He is recorded as a Major in 1915 and Lt. Colonel in 1917.
He was commandant of  2nd Mountain Brigade RGA on his death  in 1919.
