Pre War

Born on 20 Jul 1896 in Ilford son of Ellen Elizabeth Hasler later of Glenluse, Chorleywood, Hertfordshire. He was a telegraph messenger.

Wartime Service

Joined up on 21 May 1912 and served on the Ganges. Killed by an internal explosion on the Princess Irene, a minelayer, off Sheerness along with 351 other men.
