On the 1911 census, listed as Ferdinand Hammond Henry born about 1898 in Brixton, living with his parents, Ferdinand and Mary Ann Henry, licensed victuallers at the Green Dragon in London Colney. One of three children, only one sister survives by 1911, Ellen Gertrude, born about 1903 in Balham.
On the 1939 register, parents, Ferdinand (house painter) and Mary are living at 61 Kings Road.
War gratuity goes to mother as next of kin, in this record set named as Fred Henry. This gives his date of death as 12 Oct 1916
