Born on 23 Jan 1894 in Chelsea, London son of Fleet Paymaster Edmund Hickson R.N. and Edith A Hickson. Educated at the United Services College 1910-11. Joined the National Bank in 1912 and then the Standard Bank of South Africa in 1913.

Wartime Service

Formerly enlisted Private the London Regiment in 1914 and then obtained a commission in the Leinster Regiment. Killed in action at Gallipoli.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
