Born in 1895 in Wimbledon, London son of James and Emma Higgs later of Rose Hall Farm, Sarratt, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire and living in Catlett’s Farm, Chorleywood. He was a farm worker.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Stratford, London on 17 Dec 1912, entered France on 12 Aug 1914 and was killed in action.
