Born on 12 Jul 1895 and baptised on 7 Aug 1895 in Dover, Kent son of Lt. Col. Charles Richard and Aimie Gertrude (Burgess)Hodgins. Educated at the United Services College and the Imperial Service College 1908-12.

Mentioned in despatches (London Gazette 1 Jan 1916).

Killed in action.

Additional Information

Brother of 2nd Lieutenant Arthur William Marrable Hodgins who is also commemorated on these memorials but survived WW1. United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
