Born on 2 Feb 1891 son of C. A. Holland of 20 Essex Street, Strand, London. Educated at Haileybury College 1903-09.

Wartime Service

Initially enlisted as Private 550 King Edward’s Horse but obtained a commission as 2nd Lieutenant Oxford and Bucks. Regiment. Entered France on 21 Apr 1915 and was killed in action at Beaumont-Hamel.
