Haileybury College Cloister Wall Memorial, Hertford Heath

Pre War

Born on 20 Jun 1886 in Nettleham Hall, Lincolnshire son of Sinclair Frankland and Grace Hood. Educated at Haileybury College 1900-05. He married Christabel Mary Hoare and they lived at Sidestrand, Cromer, Norfolk in Dec 1916. He was Rector of Sidestrand. Formerly Head of the Magdalen College Mission, Euston, London.

Wartime Service

Was present as chaplain at Anzac/Suvla, Gallipoli with the 2nd/1st East Anglian Field Ambulance in Oct 1915 and later in Egypt. He was killed in action in Belgium while rescuing wounded.
