Born on 16 Jan 1881 in Chard, Somerset only surviving son of Arthur Wellington Alexander Nelson Hood, 2nd Viscount Bridport and Maria Georgiana Julia (Fox-Strangways) Hood, Viscountess Bridport. Educated at Haileybury College 1895-97. He married the Hon. Eileen Rose Kendall (later Eileen Viscountess Bridport) of 28 Norfolk Square, Hyde Park, London on 19 Nov 1908 and had one son.
Wartime Service
Missing, later reported killed in action at Gallipoli.
