Wartime Service

He enlisted on 1 November 1915 as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 45th battalion, 4th Reinforcement. 


His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A18 Wiltshire on 22 August 1916.  He was killed in action on 18 September 1918.
