Born on 20 Dec 1895 and baptised on 21 Feb 1896 in Hackney, Middlesex son of Frederick and Frances Mary Ann (Randall) Horning.
He was educated at Broadhurst Grammar School in Clacton on Sea and was later living at The Mount, Ware, Hertfordshire.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at London, formerly No. 2192 and was killed in action on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
