Born on 9 Nov 1894 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of Arthur and Mary Ann Huckle of 44 Croft Road, Ware, Herts.

Wartime Service

Enlisted on 21 Mar 1911 at Devonport as a Boy 2nd Class and first served on the Impregnable. He died when the Indefatigable, a battlecruiser, was hit by a shell from the German Battlecruiser Von der Tann at the Battle of Jutland. All but two of her complement of 1,019 died.
